Difference between Off Road & Sport models

Looking at 2 used Tacoma 4x4's..... One's TRD Off Road, the other is TRD Sport. What are the main differences differences between the two ?

To add, I definitely don't like the scoop on the Sport.

Off Road has the rear locker , no hood scoop , chrome details and bumper and is stock on 16" wheels

Sport has no locker , has the scoop , has colour matched details and is stock on 17" wheels

TRD Off-Road = No Long Bed...

TRD Sport Long Bed = No 6 Speed manual

Buy the sport, get the long bed, buy the ARB Diff-locker, but you have to go with the auto trans...

 

Not sure if it makes any difference that i'm in canada but mine is an off-road, with the scoop, the locker, 17's, no chrome and the long box.

 

Don't think so , unless you found the holy grail , or somebody did a bunch of mods to it before you got it .

 

Nope bought it brand new with 12kms on it. Only mods done are my own.

 

Auto or manual ?

So you have an Offroad edition , with offroad bedside decals , a long box , automatic , with a scoop , a locker , and running on 17 " rims straight from the dealership ?

Summthin don't add up .

 

yeah man I don't know but it is what it is. I never knew any different a buddy of mine has a 2010 thats the same just different paint, tail lights and rear camera.

 

I just figured out what doesn't add up actually= i'm dumb. I've gone and smoked myself stupid I guess, the rear decal says sport, not off-road. Sorry about that.
