I definitely need to test drive the long bed because my wife has some concerns about parking and such. If I can find a LB or SB with the SR5 package, I'll definitely try it as well. Thanks.

The outlet is only rated for 400 watts. Anything hot like an iron would require a lot more power.

Totally agree. TRD seats cup your sides much nicer, way better feel for hard cornering and off roading. But for hour after hour SR5 all the way.....maybe i should get one of each depending on how i am driving...haha

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm more confused after reading it.

My 2009 Taco was a 2WD V6 LBDC Prerunner SR5 TRD Sport with all those chrome scripts or badges.

My 2012 is all the same, same equipment and badges, EXCEPT the SR5 badge on the tailgate is missing.

Am I missing something? or did Toyota just decide to eliminate the SR5 badge if you got the TRD Sport.
Maybe someone repainted the tailgate & left the broken SR5 badge off?

I have a 12' SR5 and love it! I drove both the TRD and the SR5 and found the SR5 to be more comfortable.

I got tow package with my SR-5. For me it was absolutely not worth it going Sport. Plus they install an ugly ornament in a shape of a scoop right in the middle of the hood. Pass.

I like the TRD sport but in my opinion the improved suspension isn't improved enough to handle the bigger wheels and tires very well. Now with airbags, 5100s, stiffer rear springs, and a rear stabilizer bar, my 2012 handles a lot better.

Well actually I don't like the decal.
    I take them off.

Mine are still on because we haven't had a hot enough day here for the metal to warm up really good so I can peel them off.

Decals are for toy cars. Real trucks deserve paint.
