Looking at getting a 3" lift for my truck and came across two lifts from toytec. Both with the bilstein 5100 lift like many 3" lifts i have seen on here, only difference I see at first glance is one has the Toytec/Eibach coils and the other has the 521600 coils. Can one of yall please explain the difference to me?

    Hey,
I can explain the differences. I assume you are talking about the Bilstein lift kit and the Toytec 3" lift kit. Ill start with the Toytec 3", it uses a bilstien 5100 shock with a 600lb coil to give some lift and uses out own Toytec aluminum top hat for the full 3 inch lift. The Bilstein kit uses the same 5100 shock but uses a 620lb coil which is going to be slightly stiffer and with a stock style top hat you will receive 2.5 -3 inches.
Let me know if i can explain any further.

Toytec coilovers Fabtech uca's Dakars and 5100's in the back.
Can the top hat be removed on the 521600 to get 2.5 instead of 3"?
