Welcome to tw highly recomend in not getting the running boards look for a set of sliders instead. Unless you dont go offroading much.

These are sliders it protects the truck better. Bolts or welds to the frame. Called sliders cause u can slide the across rocks or curbs n do no body damage. Also if a lifted truck saves against door dings. Thinking about making my own since i cant find one i like.

JimboAnz: the service folks opened the driver side door, reached under the lower left of the dash, pushed a button on the security switch and presto the horn no longer toots when locking with fob....If I wish it to, I simply press the button again....

OK.....well I didn't get any feedback on photo posting so I'll see what I can do.........since we last talked the truck has been to Ariz, Colo., Utah, Nev., Wyom., and Idaho, NMex......and Eastern Sierra's x 3. Runs, drives great....tho there is a stumble problem when the accelerator is stomped on......I saw a discussion on that and copied the pdf....I'll take it to the dealer. I am now interested in leveling the suspension and putting larger tires on....say 825's....with Bilstein adjustable shocks on the front and 7.5 - 8 inch rims. Let me see if I can post pics.....[IMG]

In the 3rd gen there is a menu screen on the dash that allows you to adjust that.

The horns in my truck do not make any noise whatsoever when I lock or unlock the doors. There is however the little chirp sound but its not related to the horns.
