while looking at a few build threads, some folks are running Tundra 5100's, what is gained by doing that? is it a fixed mount coil mount, or still adjustable like the tacoma ones?

Valving different? if so, what type of driving is it valved for?

    Valving is Different.
Bilstein normally doesn't provide dampening numbers, so you'll to have to give them a call if your interested.

Compression/Extension may also be slightly different.

Also from what I was told the Tacoma ones have 3 levels of adjustment while the Tundra ones have 5

i guess ill give wheelers a call tomorrow and ask some questions.
i plan to run a 3" lift coil so the shocks will be set at 0. would be cool if the tundras yeilded a bit more down travel
