The scoop holds your front end down for better handling for the extra hp it produces!

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.

The scoop increases drag and that black plastic thing up front underneath (avoiding trigger words) reduces it. Maybe no net impact provided you leave her fully clothed.

I doubt the scoop increases drag too much seeing as how the mpg reports I've seen from most sport owners is the same as my sr5 without the scoop.

One thing all of you people who don't want a scoop are overlooking is that the scooped hood doesn't flop around like a curtain with the window open. That itself is a feature. The rest of us have failing adhesive on the hood skins and are being told by Toyota that it's normal.

The sport is the most useless model in the line up. I don't understand why anyone would opt for the sport over the OR especially considering the same price tag. Makes zero sense to me. To each his own I guess ...

What is the function of pro grill/tails/headlights/exhaust tip or unpainted wheel arches on an OR?

My nipples aren't functional either. I can't figure out why it's so hard to comprehend that different people want different things.

Although I understand these are trucks, sport feels like I could take to some sort of formal function whereas or looks like it belongs <trigger word alert>in a swamp

With all this debate between an Off Road for functionality or Sports for looks, put it in this perspective:

Would you want to marry a someone more for their attractiveness or more for their personality; answering this question will help you decide what truck is better for you.

Apperance outward should be artificially enhanced. Inside, who cares.

People should envy this person and salivate over her particular body parts.

    Thus i bought a Pro :D

My useless sport makes me smile every day I get in it to drive to that place called work. I go to work more often than I go off road, and for what off roading I do, my 09 base model was doing before. And from what I read, any one who is really off roading are changing bunch of parts that make the off road different from the sport. So if you look at it from that perspective the Off road is the useless one. Oh and now let's talk about the manual version which doesn't have crawl control, continues to level the playing field.

But the real reason is the smile factor, when I walked on the lot the sport made me smile, I just didn't like the color, but I still like the look.

The function of my vehicle is to make me happier about going to work, my truck does that. Smile smile smile
    Smile factor
If you are marrying for just one of those reasons, I think you will get another chance. My view, you need to be able to look at your spouse first thing every time you wake up. You need to be physically attracted to your spouse. You need to be able to talk to you spouse, hang out, LIVE with. So it's not one or the other, it's needs to be both attractiveness and personality. And the sport truck has both. Most people don't need the rear locker, so it's actually less useful than the scoop, I bet the scoop is cheaper to fix or replace than the rear locker.
