Color matched bumpers are available on the off road.

Both are great but get the off road! More rugged looking wheels (IMHO), kevlar reinforced tires, better approach angle, better off road suspension and all the afore mentioned traction goodies. I get about 22MPG with mixed driving. I do like the scooped hood on the sport though! But that's easy enough to add later.

I got 32k miles on mine, bought in Feb, 2016. I bought a sport for the suspension. The sway bars are stiffer and it is a harsher ride. But the stability at 70 MPH is solid.
I drive my truck on the pavement just as it was intended to.

If I wanted an Off-Road vehicle I would have bought a 2 door wrangler and dropped a one ton axle in both front and back with air lockers with 35"s.

I didn't know you could get a LB with a MT, I thought MT was only for the SB or the AC.

Oh hell no.... just was unaware you could a MT with the LB in either TRD config. I already have a car with a manual that makes the taco feel like you're stirring a box of rocks when shifting. Why accept that disappointment in a daily driver?

I don't think you can get manual trans in long bed at least double cab. AC I think may get long bed and manual.

The "better approach angle" is just because it lacks the front air dam... That anyone can remove from any other model and get the same approach angle.

Yeah, I'll take a sunglasses holder over crawl control.

Truth swapped out my sport suspension for the off-road and haven't looked back but kept the slightly bigger sway bar so turns pretty good at speed

it may sound petty, but i'd take a sunglass holder over crawl control on an automatic too (ie, i'd go for sport or sr5 over offroad). people who don't have to wear glasses don't understand. I've never seen an aftermarket glasses holder for a vehicle that doesn't suck. I have prescription sunglasses that I don't want to get dusty or scratched...just the lenses on these are more than the average person spends on sunglasses. And when I swap to them, I don't want the lenses on my regular glasses getting scratched, smudged, or dirty. on previous vehicles that didn't have a glasses holder in the overhead console, I tried all kinds of solutions like keeping a glasses case in the center console. It sounds petty, but there's something to be said for being able to swap glasses with one hand and knowing they will always be in the exact same location in the exact same orientation. I can get either pair of glasses out of the glasses holder without looking and not touch the lenses at all.

actually due to the sunglass holder, I am considering buying a pair that don't come from walmart. Each spring I buy 3 or 4 pairs, and either lose them or sit on them. Even had a few pairs that have been stepped on that have fallen on the floor. Granted its only been a month, but I have found my sunglass ever time I looked for them.

fwiw, i've spent as much on pairs of glasses at walmart as i have at any other optical store. it's the lenses that are expensive for me, not the frames. my astigmatism is so bad that i have to pay for the high index lenses to make them thinner and lighter. i also do the anti-reflective and transition coatings.

Works better than the OEM holder because it keeps them from rattling or bouncing around inside on rough roads.

I've used both the OEM holder and this clip. I prefer the croakies clip. It actually works better. Our transmissions and rear differentials suck, this visor clip doesn't.
