Different country...different design for the same basic truck...why?

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    True but it won't pass emission standards so it would have to be cut down to probably 3/4 of power and torque. 0-60 would be like 1.5 hour :D
    as somebody else point out. write your congress and senate people to lower EPA standards if you want diesel otherwise not going to happen

    To clarify... it's not so much to LOWER EPA standards... but get us congresspersons with enough gonads to will take away the authority of the EPA (and other agencies) to ADMINISTRATIVELY impose policy and RULES that screw up the lives of Americans, and yet don't have to answer to anyone. That is the ESSENCE of tyranny!

    The EU has tighter clean air standards than we do that doesn't kill the diesel. Why?
