Different drive shaft for 4x4 and 4x2?

    Is the rear drive shaft for a 4x4 and 4x2 the same or is it different. 02 tacoma crew cab v6?

    I'd assume it's different, the 4x4 being shorter due to the transfer case.

    Ok thats what i figured too but wasnt sure im looking for just the rear and mine is 4x2 so i want to make sure before i actually buy one.
