    Hey guys

So after a two month long battle with a Jeep I bought, I put it up for sale and moved back into my Tacoma (so glad no one would pay what I was asking for it.)

Problem is that my Tacoma is RWD and it's winter. I have a PreRunner with 265 75 15 tires right now. I've been wanting to get smaller tires for a while now and now is a good time.

My question is, can I buy a pair of thin winter tires on the back and leave my current tires on the front until the spring? Then I'd buy 4 thinner H/T and be done with the transition.

Also, how much size variation can a normal rim accommodate? Am I looking at buying new rims also?

Couldn't find much info about a case like this so I'd appreciate any thoughts.

    Thanks
