Different tire size and LSD

Quick question, I am buying new tires and I am wondering if the Tacoma LSD on the Off Road package will cause an issue if I have to run two different sizes. Going from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16. I just dont have the money to buy 5 tires. I am used to clutch type LSD not the Toyota ABS activated LSD.

 

Depends on your year. The early 2nd gens had a clutch type LSD if I remember correctly...

5mm difference in aspect ratio. your 4wd will not like that at all. wait till you can buy all 4 tires

 

I'm going to purchase 4 tires. I am wondering about having to run the spare if I have to. Since the 2013 TRD OF does not have an automatic LSD I should be fine right?

 

The brake-based LSD can still attempt to kick in if it senses enough of a difference in wheel speed, but you can disable the function by holding down the VSC button for 5 seconds.
