I've had the ARB kit for a while in storage. Too late to return. Anyone know where I can find a write up for the ARB kit? Wondering which additional parts I'll need that are not included in the kit.

To all you guys... I have a 2016 sr 4x2.. I don't go off road but I've had to go through flooded streets some times and I didn't know about the diff breather... i think I'm jus fine for now but I want to be able to go through +6" of water in case of an emergency... do you guys recommend the mod? Do I have to do this with the gear box? Once again I probably would NEVER go through more than 12" water... but you never know with this rains here in miami...
    thanks for all advice!

    What about this?

I've owned 4x4's since 1983 and I've extended the vent tubes on all of them. Some I got more creative on, and some I just extended. If you think you may even cross a decent low water crossing on a street I'd do it. Just my 2 cents.

I don't know where you all are getting these parts so cheap. All in it's about $30 from Amazon. I decided to go ahead and do this mod since I'm watching the hurricanes and for some reason I've started getting sort of stressed about them, even though I live in NOVA and no where in the path of them. Had to gas up my cars and get the generator tuned up and this mod. No idea why. :notsure:

I got the 2 parts from an online dealer in Michigan for $12.xx shipped. Then 6ft of hose from Advance for like $6.

Those bellows style breathers don't work worth a .... I tried them on my FJ40. I recommend relocating the breather to a filter that is protected from splashes and above the water line.

Don't wait, WINTER IS COMING (sorry, I watch Game of Thrones)!
It has got to be the easiest mod, or close! You can also perform the SPARE TIRE MOD at the same time!
The SPARE TIRE MOD is to flip the spare over SO YOU CAN CHECK and ADD AIR... Toyota put mine in with the Schrader valve facing up!

Hmmm, cheapest I can find is $12 for the union and $7 for the breather .... is that about right for the going rate?
