The parts are good, same things you’d get at the dealer. The kit is like a $5 convenience fee to make it easier.

Should I be using worm clamps, or the hose slipped over the fitting strong enough?

Great write up. I went with a can of Copenhagen instead of Skoal but it still came out perfect.

20 ft of hose(gonna do fronts too) off Amazon, Camry union, and hose clamps. I reused the breather out of the diff, fits 1/4 id hose perfectly. Zip tied to the fuel filler, not drilled though.

I think a big benefit is that you change the breather to a 2-way breather. If you reuse the one on the diff, you still have a 1-way breather. So if you then go through cold water with a hot axle, it is going to try to suck air in. The 1-way breather won’t allow that (it lets air out only), and you get water sucked in through the seals. It will be the same problem, just now it’s higher, but doesn’t solve the problem.

Also, isn’t the front already a 2-way and located at the top of the engine bay? Mine is (2014) so it’s ideal already.

My bed doesn't have the cubbies in the front of the bed, just remove the inner fender at the rear tire to gain access to the back? Curious how others with the 15 TRD Sport DCLB accomplished this.

I did this a month or two back, but figured I'd share what I used. I think it cost me around $20 for everything.

Here's the hose connected to the new union.

I decided to mount the new breather in the storage compartment in the bed, but I'm considering moving it up by the taillight.
