I have a 2022 Tacoma and I am doing a re-gear. While I am at it I thought I would replace the rear diff cover with something that looks cooler than stock. I have an SR without any elocker. Anybody have any recommendations? Pictures would be awesome.

    thanks!

Have you looked at the rear axle closely? There is no cover, the third member removes towards the front and the rear 'cover' area is integrated with the housings that enclose the axles.

    not bad!

years ago, I saw an older truck with a punisher, clown, smiley,,,, whatever face welded to the rear axle. Of course the eyes, nose, mouth were filled in with neon green spray paint.

I wondered a few years back why I didn't see any tacobros with aftermarket diff covers.

I instantly thought of this series of videos from Gale Banks. (incase someone doesn't know Banks is a well respected engineer in the performance industry. ) Bottom line, most diff covers are for bros.

I've seen a diff skid plate for it though. Not sure how useful it is but looks pretty cool.
