Do I need any friction modifier in my front and rear diff's, and, what is the best fluid to use?

I did it this weekend on my 2008 with the Mechanical LSD and I used 80w90 Valvoline Durablend which has the additive built-in, have not added any additional modifiers and no problems yet.

Lots of conflicking information on people that had problems with some oils with additives builtin, like the 75w90 Mobil1 LS.

From what it seems, you can't go wrong with 80w90 Dino and additive, the dealer told me any API GL5 would work. I couldn't get Dino, all the parts stores were sold out so I went with the 80w90 they had and seems to be working.

^^ Then you don't need the friction mod.
