    front +2 allpro long travel with kings. Marlin crawler lca reinforcements, alpine design cab mount. All pro spindle and upper control arm reinforcements. Willwood 6 piston front calipers and 2 piece rotors. rear 7 pack expedition soa, 12 2.5s, archive garage shock relocation kit. Archive garage shackle flip kit. wheels 285/75/17 geolander g0003 on 17x9 with a zero offset. engine bay. antigravity atx hd-20 lithium battery arb high capacity air compressor. 3* exhaust cam timing. intake spacer custom stuff custom made sliders, custom bed rack system, custom drawer and bed system, modified mounts for arawak awning. Fiberglass/lexan cap door. Boxed out frame in spots I could reach. soon to be a chopped bed at the rear axle interior -lathewerks co polymer stainless shift knob, modified from a wrx to fit. -pioneer mid and treble speaker replacement. -future mods -4.56 gears arb front and rear lockers -traction bar for the rear. -full carbon front clip. -supercharger eventually.
    In the process of putting in regear and air lockers, and I am running into a snag. Working on the rear currently. Currently stuck at putting the bearing cap on. before i put the bearing cap on, my backlash is good, everything spins freely. As soon as i tighten down the bearing cap, everything locks up to where I cant move it by hand. Any inputs into what I am doing wrong, or is this supposed to happened? thank you internet tacoma fam for any insights, I refuse to take it into a shop out of pride at this point.

    I assume an 8.4 diff from your 13 sport? Which carrier bearing shims are you using? Thickness for ring side? Bolt side ARB master shim and what is the secondary arb shim size? Also, what size pinion shim did you put in?

    For 8.4 with an ARB I start with 0.085 pinion shim, swap the bolt side carrier shim to the ring side, and ARB master shim with 0.005 secondary shim on bolt side. If you want to PM me, I'll give you my cell# and you can text me if you want.

    lol kind of winging it, which might be the problem. I didn't use a shim for the pinion gear, just set the inner bearing to the same as the oem pinion. Pinions in there rotating nice and freely. And you are unfortunately speaking a lot of terms I want to learn but am currently ignorant on. The oem tacoma shim is fitting nicely on the side that doesnt have the air line/ring gear. And I have the .0085 shim on the ring side inbetween the carrier bearing and the airline ring. I shot you a pm, hopefully we could link up here by the end of the week and have a conversation.
