    what brands other tha Eaton and ARB are available for Tacomas? Also, how do I go about figuring out whats on the truck now?

    Harrop (also from Australia) also makes on-demand lockers for these but they're electronic (magnet style) rather than air like ARB.
    To figure out how your truck is currently equipped, give us some info as to engine, transmission, prerunner or 4x4

    So providing your truck isn't a TRD Off-Road, it will have an open diff, 8.4" ring gear diameter, 4.10 ratio.
    If it's an Off-Road, it will have a smaller diameter ring gear and should have a e-locker
