Differient Size Tacos

    Why do some of the stock 2nd gens look smaller than others. Are the TRD's bigger than the sr5 and is the 6 cyl bigger than the 4 cyl. (or is it just me.)

    I figured the wheels and tires would make a differience but just the overall body size looks bigger. I might just be imagining things though beings I havent seen all models side by side.

    Tail gate hose clamp, Front Windows 50% tint, fog lights, 894 backup light mod, LED license & interior.
    All tacoma are the same size but 5 lugs are closer to the ground.

    5 lugs also have differend bed panels and frond fender setups. notice that the prerunners and TRDs have snap-on fender flairs, while the "smaller' ones do not.

    Heres a pic of mine and my Fathers trucks. The combination of DC vs AC, lift, tires roof rack and camera angle can really make a difference. The bottom line however is that most of the body components are identical.
