Does anyone have suggestions for seeing what's on the screens? I just got a 2016 SR5 (no nav) and the screen is so hard to read, especially in daylight. I have it set with the 3 sections: clock (upper left), mpg/fuel (lower left), and weather (right). I can't even read the time, which has pretty large numbers. I did go into the settings and have it at the brightest but that didn't help much. I changed the colors, but that didn't help at all. Trying to see what's on the screen when backing up is impossible. The cruise control indicator between the tach and spedometer is also impossible to see. Is it just my screen or does anyone else have the same problem, and if so, have you found a solution?

Yeah, Unless you have some real vision issues, I'd be heading back to the dealer to have it checked out.

Glasses or no glasses, the screens are impossible to read when I'm driving in daylight. It's like trying to see what's on your smart phone screen when you're standing out in the sun. My other vehicle also has a screen but it's much easier to read it. That screen is angled differently than the Tacoma and it also has a protruding lip along the sides and across the top. I'm wondering about improvising something to sort of "shade" the screen's face.

if you have headlights on in daytime- you might have to select the daylight function on display so its brighter

JBockman, you hit the nail on the head. I'm so used to "auto-on" lights in my other vehicles, I turned them on and never turned them off. Thank you!!! Easy fix, screen is bright. Now I just have to remember to turn my lights on.
