Is that a shot of the hood/grille junction? Just off the top of my head, my grille insert never came with a foam piece under the weather strip itself....curious if that was Toyota's attempt at a "fix" for the hood whistle? Seeing as pro grille inserts would have been for 2015s.

My grille is a custom satoshi made from a standard 12+ insert by the way, but even the new color match grille I bought didn't have a foam piece like that under the seal. It had foam under where the plastic outer surround fit in but nowhere else. Maybe I'm just not recalling correctly...but I definitely 100% know that all I see in that gap is the weather seal, no foam.

the clips at first were a huuuuge PITA. i was scared to force them and snap the plastic. once i finally got a couple going, it was easy after that.

Yep it's the junction.. Both the new color matched OEM grill and the pro had the foam, but not the 2013 that I took off. Not only is the gap kind of funky but the bezel itself actually sits kind of uneven, I wonder if I slightly bent it when I yanked it off the OEM grill . Looks good from further than 4 inches away though :D

I broke the two top middle ones but the rest popped out with force. Maybe that's actually why it doesn't sit perfectly even like I stated above haha.

I have an MGM taco too, where did you order the color-matched bezel? Do you have a part number? Does it come painted?

You have to purchase an entirely new OEM grill which it comes with included. I went through Camelback.. it is part # 53100-04481-B1, make sure to use the promo code TWPartz for a small discount.
