So I keep getting the following showing up in the notifications on my phone:

    upload_2025-1-19_19-56-48.png

This thing is insistent and won't stop pinging my phone regardless of what I do. When I tap "Pair and Connect" the notification goes away but then pops up a minute or so later. Same if I choose "Cancel"

Thinking that it may have lost it's connection with the truck, I took my digital key out of my wallet, went down to the truck with the Toyota app loaded on my phone and started up the truck. Phone paired no problem, Android auto fired up. All seemed normal. However, this notification continued to pop up on my phone while in the truck, whether it was running or not.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance!

What happens when you turn off Bluetooth Scanning? "Settings", Type in search field "Bluetooth scanning".

On my phone or on the truck's screen?

Okay, guess I spoke too soon. Bluetooth scanning is off but same pairing request is still happening. Gonna have to give this a rest for tonight.

If things are still wonky after the reboot, try removing and reinstalling your digital key within the Toyota phone app.

    1) Open Toyota app
    2) Swipe up from home screen
    3) From "Digital Key" Tap "Manage and Share"
    4) Very bottom "Remove Key"

    Re-enable bluetooth scanning.

You then have to go through the process of installing a digital key again. Or just not have it at all. Might be a specific phone/software version bug that you have to wait out until the next version release. I have found that the app still works without a digital key as long as there is cell service.

Thanks a mil for that. I rebooted my phone last night. I'll check functionality when I head out today.
