Dilema: Camburg UCAs (not put on yet) or Doug Thorley Header?

Aight, check it, so I have Camburg UCAs that I bought from Wheeler's and still have not installed yet, and now I am having second thoughts as to whether they are really worth having, or if I should sell these and get some headers instead. I run OME suspension all around with stock UCAs currently and no supercharger, just a K&N intake, making me question whether the headers would even be worth it. Yeah, I could use more power; sure, maybe I could use better alignment and no wander on the road, but I don't know, just thought that I would open it up to the world of Tacoma and see if anyone else has some insight or opinions. (Also I hear people blowing smoke about headers increasing MPGs slighty, but I have a hard time believing that when considering exactly what headers do, what thinkest thou?)

 

I would keep the UCA's if it were me.

 

x2 on keeping the uca's. I need a set to correct my alignment. I'd rather have a truck with corrected alignment and not have to worry about ball joints being overstressed than having headers.

UCA's. The headers really aren't going to give you much more power.

 

I see you have the same UCAs; you like them and noticed a discernable difference?

 

i love them. my alignment is perfect and the added articulation is great.

 

Headers seem kind of pointless on our trucks. Better to build it for wheeling and build it right than skimp and do performance mods as well IMO.

Plus those UCAs are badass.

Yeah, I'm not too big on headers, I was just seeing what everyone's thoughts here were because I have a friend who is all about them.

 

could probably just send me the UCAs and not worry about the headers either. happy to help you put this issue to rest for free

x8 on the UCA's, but if your bound and determined to do the headers lemme know. I might just take those UCA's off your hands.
