I was worried when the 4th gen came out I would want one. Now that I have seen them I'm relieved that I don't. My 2022 is exactly what I wanted and I'll be keeping it for the long run.

I get a good chuckle from some of these guys that do all sorts of early unnecessary maintenance on their newly owned tacoma's claiming they are going to keep them well over 10 years, yet soon as the new generation model is announced a year later, their ready to trade up, or can't wait to. It just cracks me up.

I get a good chuckle from people that are so worried about what other people do with their money, lives, or automobiles. I am sorry. I do not know where that mentality comes from. That same way of thinking that is so prevalent nowadays that everyone deserves the same thing no matter how many hours or hard a person has worked to get what they have. I couldn’t care less want anyone else does.

A lot of people do exactly what their phones tell them to do.

My daily driver is 24 years old and still on the job. My Tacoma will last longer than the ZR2!

Exactly!! I have almost convinced myself to go ahead and buy the 3rd Gen. I know what I am getting into, and having owned a couple, I guess I have a soft spot for them. Especially since the one I am looking at is Lunar Rock and that will no longer be offered.

I guess if everyone were like me buying a new truck every 20 years, or so, a lot of people would be out of a job. You gotta have those guys that buy more often. Their good for our economy.
