Let me start off by saying im not a “YouTuber” and I’m not looking for subscribers.

This video serves the purpose of:

-Using foot lights (rock or under vehicle lights) to activate as the fob approaches the driver or passenger door radius. If your dome light does not activate on approach just ask your dealer to turn on this feature on your next visit.

-Allowing foot lights (rock or under vehicle lights) to be ramped on and dimmed off.

    - maintains independent use and control of lighting. While the lights will come on with Dome light while approaching, unlocking, and door opening. If manually turning on the dome light it will not effect foot lights and the foots lights when turned on will not effect the dome light.

-FYI this is a ground controlled switch which means the positive side is constant powered and the ground side connection is ramped open and ramped closed.

I hope this is helpful to anyone trying to wire in rock lights or under vehicle lights. it contains the locations of the dome light 12+ and switched ground wire in the A pillar, as well the location to provide the proper back lighting connections for your OEM style switch.
