I have been led to believe that dinghy towing was possible with the proper modifications. Has anyone accomplished this?

A prius could tow a dinghy.

Our trucks are capable of towing Mid-sized to large rv's. A dinghy is no problem at all.

Check the owner's manual and it will tell you all about it. usually a trailer is better in the long run no matter what...

Dinghy towing is a term RV'ers use to flat tow a vehicle behind the RV.

Op, I would disconnect the rear driveshaft to dinghy tow. Just tie it up under the truck. Only need to pull the side on the differential. As noted above, the manual should give some info on this.
