Ah the humble Tacomas... I always find lifted diesels a bit obnoxious, good to see that in some cases it's a fair representation of the driver.

Doesn't look that deep. Little more speed and I think he makes it! :homer:

If you tell the room that the stove in the corner is hot, most of them will believe you. There's always those few in the crowd that have to go touch it to see what your definition of "hot" is. :bananadead:

A number of years ago I was tooling around the water crossings on Bolivar/Crystal Beach. I'm personally of the mindset that If I haven't crossed it within the previous hour, get out and wade it first. I don't cross if I think I know the depth, I'll only cross after I personally verified the depth. That day I was getting a little cocky, and came up on a 40-ish foot wide section of rip, where the beach looked like it was just barely under water. There was a guy sitting in the middle of it, seemingly enjoying the water, and I could see that his toes and ass crack were barely even breaking the surface. I almost entered, I didnt feel like getting out, checking the crossing, then toweling the sand off my legs for the 15th time that day. But at the very last second a little voice in my head stopped me and told me to walk it first. It wasnt until I got out of the truck when I really noticed that the poor bastard lounging in the water was actually sitting on his roof rack, and yup, there's a little antenna poking out of the water just to his right... I felt real bad when he raised his head at me, gave a sad little shake, and said "yeah, you shouldn't try to cross this one, bud."
