Just installed my new DD Ditch lights and the install was mostly easy, but I'm wondering if there's a better place to route the wiring coming out of the lights themselves? I put some small notches in the weather-stripping to accommodate them, and there aren't really any pinch points per se, but it is a pretty tight fit and I'm wondering if I should've done it a different way. Should I slide the sheathing on the wires down under the hood? Something else? Pictures for reference.

I have mine routed the same as you. I gave it a lot of thought and couldn’t come up with anything that seemed better.

I did the same or at least similar. No issues after a year

    Same here, no problems though.
