Juat got my SL1s in. Install was extremely easy, and on a wall they ar definitely brighter and whiter which is exactly what I wanted. But when I drive around, I almost feel Ike they are not as bright on the road as I thought they would be. Pattern is great, just not sure on road brightness.my truck is lifted almost 3 inches in front so could that be a reason? Maybe light is just too high off road? Any thoughts or suggestions would help, I don't want to return or sell them just yet, but I might if I feel like the OEMs worked better in my specific truck..thanks !

Putting LEDs in a lamp housing designed for halogens just doesn't work. The greater output of the LED bulbs is not directed properly to provide the benefits that you seek. There are several threads on here that go into greater detail, but that's the long and short of it.

    Sorry.

Yea, that's what Ive read. I did research and everything got my hopes up! Even a video on YouTube looks great for these with the tacoma, just didn't translate on my lifted truck I guess. I'll give it another week or so

It's not the lift as such - the lift may impact the aiming but you'll still have problems with light output even without it.
