I was wondering if anyone has the prinsu rack and has the DD 42" stage series with their TIR technology mounted to it and how the hood glare is? I want to compare the BD S8 glare with that of the DD. Im curious how well the TIR tech works compared to the industry leading scientists of lighting.....any help appreciated, thanks

That greatly depends on what beam pattern you want to compare on each model. Long story short, the wider the pattern the more hood you'll light up.

Right, since I don't want glare, I am going to do the one that is closest to SPOT. I also want it focused out ahead of the road....
So BD S8 40" SPOT or the DD Stage 42" with their combo I think is what its called.

Also looking to run this set-up with my Prinsu rack. If anyone has photos of it please post or link to correct post. I want to know if they lightbar sits low and flush like the Caliraised light bar does.

I have this setup, ss42 white driving pattern, there’s still some glare depending on how you aim it. I’ll try to get a picture today, but I believe I also have a video from inside the cab...

I wanted to update this thread, thanks for the reminder.
I went ahead and got a DD 42" Stage Series, driving pattern.
There is NO hood glare whatesoever. I was pretty amazed actually I did think there would be a little bit.
If the light gets a lot of dirt on it, it will glare slightly. Otherwise, I am amazed..... I would buy this light again.
