I want to black out my Tacoma's grille, and bumper, I'd assume this would affect TSS but wanted to see if there was a work around or a way to do it without affecting that feature.

I'd prefer to buy the Toyota Pro Geille, but after reading that it will need recalibrated i am skeptical.

Anyone else do I quick derp to the 18's with TSS?

I have the Pro grille on my sport (ebay bought) and haven't had to re-calibrate it. Have had it on for over 2 months now and don't seem to have any issues with it. The TSS is in the emblem on grille and black box that is behind the rear view mirror. There isn't anything on the front bumper. The rear bumper has the back up sensor's, so think as long as you don't cover those 4 or so sensors, should be good.

No need to recalibrate with Pro Grille.

Thanks pal, what do those sensors do? I've yet to hear it yell at me or anything when backing up. Does it just beep like the lane departure if you get too close to something?

The rear sensor's should beep when you are too close to something in reverse and alert you when something is coming from the side (if that makes sense), basically if your backing out of a parking spot and something is from the side of your rear.

And lastly, did you have to buy the OEM garnish?

Seems I can get the grille for about $120 and the garnish for $55 or so if that sounds right

Yes, get the garnish also. Ebay has them for like 50ish. Got the grille for like 140 off there. Took about 45 minutes to get it out and in. Just take your time with it.
