I'm gonna start off with I'm new to the forum, so if this has been addressed just point me in the right direction.

I have a 2000 extended cab with the standard 6 ft bed. The ONLY thing I have come to find I'm not super fond about these little toyotas is there isn't much storage room. I used to race Dirtbikes professionally, but still ride every weekend. I want to get a toolbox, but I'm not sure my bike will fit in the back with a bed extender so my stuff is more secure. I'm sure someone has done this, if so do you have pictures? Any advice would be great! Thanks!!

I have an 03' xtra cab w/ 6ft bed as well but have seen others with toolboxes as well as 4-doors with shorter beds hauling bikes. You will have to put your bike cat-e corner in the bed, but should not have a problem. That was without a bed extender.

I had a Ranger with the 6 foot bed and tool box(assuming they are similar ). My dirt bike rear tire would be right on the edge of the tailgate(top) while it is down. I couldn't use the extender but just strapped everything down well

I cant see that happening. The tire sits on the tailgate as it is. Even if put in sideways it probably aint gona fit.

I keep everything in the back seats if not in between the bikes or in the space by front tire.

It does happen. like i said, the tire is on the very edge(top rail of the tail gate).

Maybe the ranger bed was bigger. i could fit the bike in with the taile gate closed if i put it corner to corner. your looks like it would do it too(single bike of course) @devinzz1

Bed may not be longer but i believe the tailgate itself is when layed down.
