hi im new to TW i just got a 06 Tacoma double cab with a 6" fab tech lift i found that one of my rear shocks is leaking when trying to find out were to get a replacement i keep seeing that they are rebuild able. is there a kit i can buy or should i just replace. and were is a good place to buy a replacement.

i have two other questions if this isn't the right spot i can move them

1 i have a vibration at 35-45 i have balanced and rotated that tires and aligned it my self and i still have it i also have a small vibration at take off and deceleration around 10mph im sure this is the tires. i found that the carrier bearing is at the bottom of its travel and its all ready been dropped with blocks about and inch i dont know if this is the problem or not and should/can i drop the carrier more.
2 how do i tell if its been re geared i see that there is an lsd sticker on the rear end but other then that i can i tell with out tearing it apart and counting teeth. my buddy says that it may be re geared because it seems like there is toque when taking off u dont have to baby the clutch. but he only deals with older off roaders

    thanks for any help

Jack the back end up, and spin the tire one revolution. Count how many times the drive shaft moves, and that will let you know the gear ratio. If it turns 3 and 3/4 turns, you have 3:73 gears (Stock) And Welocome to TW! :)
