If you click on the Cabin Air Filter mod link in my sig, you can see exactly where it is behind the glovebox.

We never changed it on our Honda Oddessy. That could be why it stunk when ever you used heat. I have the washable one in my truck and a free one the dealer gave me that sits in the house(they said it came with the maintenance).

I just got a couple of filters from Logical-Source.com, they look exactly like the stock Toyota filter that came out of the truck. I just changed mine @ 25K, it was dirty with some small leaves and junk in there, but it looked white or new compared to yours. I am garaged kept which may help, and have not been down many dusty roads lately. I guess my filter would have eventually looked like yours after 5 yrs!
Did you notice any performance loss with the AC/heat system or notice any "musty smells" with the filter in that condition?

I remember when you didn't have to buy filters for cabin air...if you wanted air you rolled down the window.

I change it after every Oil change, but lately it has been around every 5k. When I first bought my truck I didn't change it until I hit 10k, and it was completely shot. I recommend every Oil change. There is also a Mod that you can make a RE-usable cabin air filter using a filter for your home.
