Fastest (scarey fast) thing I ever did was at a GNCC/AMA Natioal Hare Scrambles at Winterplace Ski Resort in Beckley West Virginia. We ran DOWN a ski slope. The local police were radaring us at the base of the hill. I usually rode an XR 600 Honda when we ran there. I was radared at 115 mph. Try going that fast on a dirt bike. Had sphincter lock for a month

A front bumper and winch is holding me back a bit right now, but the IFS skid and sliders definitely gave me some more confidence and solace in knowing I have more protection for my daily on the trails.

The big hill.....imagine going down that, throttle pinned WFO, on a dirt bike that was probably designed to go 70 top speed...well over 100.

Several big hills there, multiple "trails" when they're covered with snow and shaped too. Be hard to determine which one unless both of us were there.
Been years, close to 10 now I'd guess, that I went skiing anywhere. Used to go a lot with youth groups, school, and The Scouts. Minimum 2 trips a year to somewhere.

Not sure how long I could hang now that I smoke and knees aren't 15 years old any more. But I'd still be all smiles out on the slopes!

Last time I raced there was 1992. So you would have been about 4 then.....It was a pretty cool place. The big hill had a name' just can't recall what it was. It was a 1/2-mile straight-away....that was like riding down an elevator shaft. They tried to send us up the hill one year. Many of the smaller bikes couldn't pull the hill.

We would drive through Ashland on the way home. Then it was 100 mphuntil we hit Lexington.

The most valuable thing I learned from dirt bikes that applies to 4wds was to read terrain way out in front of me. (Don't look at the front tire...look as far in front as you can see) Picking a good line is more important than ANY aftermarket parts..

I have an idea what the hill was then. Don't know the ski trail names by heart, but a few I could see being fun on 2 wheels.

Keep getting 'warranty' calls about my 2012 Mazda MX5.
    "Never owned a Miata, had a 2012 Mazda3."

"I can get you a quote for that!"

    "I don't own the Mazda3 any longer."

    "What is your current vehicle,sir?"

"I've voided, or trying to void, all the warranties. Thanks, but bye!"

In your most stereotypical "redneck" voice, say "i don't speak english" then end the call. They will shit themselves trying to figure out what the hell you just said

That's the problem, they usually speak relatively good English themselves! o_O

But, I know you're name is not Mary or John...
