That's a post tax return purchase. Behind a locker, front bumper, winch, and better tars. In that order, mostly.

If it's possible, I'll get a DIY beadlock kit and talk to DYF about it.

 

I took a peek at my battery over my long break from work while doing something. Less than 600 CCA , and that's at it's prime, not 4 years older.
It's time to start looking at a new one. Possible dual setup, probably not yet because I don't have enough to warrant that need. Another year or so, there may be enough junk on the truck to run 2.

 

I put a 900 AGM in mine. That sumbitch don't even blink when i start my truck

 

I feel like whatever return I get this year will disappear just a fast as the past ones have. Hoping that the house purchase helps a bit.

Speeking of which... @dirty deeds loves a good poop story and I have one from today.

I'm house sitting for a friend who is away most of deer hunting season and this week we've had a few freezes so he shut off his water before hand. Today I forgot and i had to poop. I recalled of course when I tried to flush and it appeared the last flush had already been used. I went out to the garage and found a 5 gallon jug full of drinking water and filled the tank and flushed like a dream. The end.

 

Solid poop story man!

Why NOT? 31k on current tires. So, past 1/2 way point. Don't want to start drive to Moab without new rubber. Tire vendor I deal with owes me monies. So taking it out in trade. I can get enough (easily) from old set to break even and have new tires.

So, again, better question would be WHY NOT?
