Home made barrel stove with a simple box fan behind it. Even with minimal insulation I can work in a tee shirt (pants optional) in zero temps. Spread some white sand around and pretend to be at the beach!

House first, then the garage. For insulation, that is.

Always keeping my eye peeled for an old stove though.

Places like Rural King or Tractor Supply sell kits to make a stove from a steel barrel. IIRC they sell for about $40. Biggest cost is triple wall flu pipe. I built one 12 years ago, expecting the barrel to burn out in a couple years. Still solid and minimal rust. I lined it with fire brick....made a log grate from 3/4" rebar. Burn good firewood (hardwoods) and all is well. I have less than $200 total investment and it works as well as a $1000 wood stove. Just put a fan behind it to scatter the heat.

Ditch brackets are installed. Trimming the cowl took more time than anything else. Sucked.
I'll get the lights on and wired up tomorrow. Fix the rear bump as well.

Spent the morning and noon investigating the garage power again. Still giving me shit. Isn't making sense, electrically.

    Today...

Ditch lights and wiring. Brackets on yesterday.
Fix bump stop that bottomed out too quick and isn't tight to the plate.
Crawl around and check hardware to be tightened underneath.
    Spray slider frame plates again.
    Wire bed corner lights.
And whatever else I come up with.

    Ta ta for now!
