I already sunk a bunch of time into the steel wheels. Steel can be fixed easier than alloy, too, most times.
Nah, not the gears. 1st is what ya use to just get them to turn, 2nd actually gets them rolling, 3rd and on is totally fine.
    Horsepower!

Horsepower (increase) is 99% ineffective and/or unneeded off road. Gears are MUCH more useful off road.

You'll get used to whatever you have in time as far as on highway power/gearing.

It's not a race car....or truck in spite of what we want to believe.

I change from 3.73 to 4.10 gears. Made it feel just like stock tires and stock gearing. No desire for more motor. I've had a couple 4wds that ended up in the 400/450 hp range. Complete waste....just bad gas mileage and broken parts. Gears are where it's at....

I used to do that...after 8 or 10 wheel swaps, just started leaving the mudders on. Just as soon wear out tires as I would lug nuts, studs, jacks, my back, etc.....

Watch Craigslist (or simular) for an old Columbia or Wilton vice. They dont make em like they used to....Mine is probably 75 or 100 years old and will be around in another 100. I bought a top of the line Wilton for work (new one) a couple years ago. We broke it ina week.

I might only regear to 4.56. Don't plan on anything above a 33" tire until boost is applied. And there are many more things needed to go to +33 tars for a 4 banger.
Already have a love/hate for these and it's only been one full day

I'm surprised at how sensitive the km2s are. I feel every damn bump in the road vs my Grabbers.
Seeing Josh run them off road, makes them suck less on pavement, but I'll be glad to switch back til the next trip.
