Real truck tires vs car tires....for mall cruising

I'm not one of those that likes the idea of chunking expensive rubber on pavement. That's just stupid.
    Neither are car tires.

So tell me, by owning TWO sets of tires, TWO sets of rims, swapping back and forth every time you go off road, how much do you propose to save?

Been down that road, and regard swapping wheels on a regular basis as a complete waste of time AND money. I probably put 5 times the miles per year on tires as most, maybe more....and I wouldn't swap back and for for a FREE set of tires.....WAY too much effort for WAY too little return on investment.

Aside from this time, I only plan to run the km2s the day before and after a wheeling trip.
But I forget, you're much older and wiser so you have all the answers. Time to go get lost in the woods with strangers! :)

I know a few people that have tried to do the two sets of wheels and tires thing and it never stuck medium-long term. Just too much hassle, especially as cheap as smaller MT tires are

Not about money short term, but long term. Fuel, gears, tire wear, wear on parts.

Right now it's about how much different they are to me. The guy behind the wheel every day

After a few weeks, you get used to changes and don't even notice. This from someone who could feel the difference between 7" wide and 8" wide wheels.... Don't even think about the 33" tires now.

If you don't FB, there's a benefit ride at Rush for special needs kids this Saturday noon-5pm. No need to go wheeling if you don't want to.

I haven't update OP pics since April last year. I edited the mod list back in February.
