My leafs are the originals....Truck now has 119,000 miles. AAL's (2" Deavers) have been on the last 14 months, just over 33,000 miles. I'm 110% pleased. They've held up to several heavy loads, pulled the camper a couple times, and in general, have performed well. They seem to balance well with 885X's on the front. If it were me, I'd do the Deavers AAL and buy sliders. You can always upgrade rear leaves down the road somewhere if they don't last. This'll get you in the game. I did a U-bolt flip kit at the same time I did the AAL. $80 well spent....which led to buying Wheelers Superbumps.....It never ends.

Did enough flexing yesterday to finally get to all 4 bumps. Never noticed hitting the bump stops like you do when you hit stock bumps. Soft as a babies ass!

See?! This is a worth while review and 'this is why you should or shouldn't buy' type of statement. It isn't one of those "TW said to buy this because it's most expensive so you should buy once cry once, but I'm not really going to give any real reasoning behind my statement" type of statement.

    THANK YOU BILL!

My truck only has 40k miles on it. My rear leafs are stiff as fuck on the road, when at LBL I could feel my rear wheels coming off the ground a lot. My leafs aren't going to sag any time soon. Before they do sag, I'll need new front shocks I'm sure anyway.

Wouldn't have mattered if I would have ordered my tires months ago....just got the wheels last Wednesday brah!!!

Honestly, you will like the Dakars. Your camping gear will appreciate them too.

Just trying to help you lighten that wallet and get the best bang for each buck, sir.

When I first found TW, that was my initial impression. "It HAS to be the best because it's the most expensive" and "It's obviously better because I have one" mentality. Probably 90% of the trucks on the road are over-built and DEFINATELY "over-spent" for the things that truck will end up doing in it's life. I see very little point into turning a Tacoma into a 5-ton truck with a bed that won't hold much more than a few coolers and a tent.

I haul stuff in my truck. I off road my truck. I pull a trailer with my truck. I put a lot of miles on my truck. The suspension I chose works great. Granted, I can't park in the mall parking lot and read off a list of parts that tells the tale of where my life savings went, but I'm good with THAT too.
