Well....NEXT lift you do will take 1/2 the time (or less) My first IFS lift took 8 hours. 2nd took 3. Last one I did took 75 minutes. I've got an 8' spud bar with a home-made attachment to pry down on LCA's. Sandy stood on the end of it and held my LCA's down while I stuck the struts in place. Now that I'm ready with that, it's likely I'll never do another Tacoma lift....

Rear will be easier. 1st side will make you say naughty words. 2nd will be a breeze. It's EASIER if you disassemble BOTH sides, build leaves (install AAL) then put both sets of Ubolts on . MUCH easier. Have a variety of C clamps and a wide mouth vice grip welders clamp handy. Also deadblow hammer.

Avoid Dodges. That's all I'm going to say on that issue. BTDT.

If you stay with pic #2, you'll be needing 6" wheel spacers and an exhaust stack in the bed. Roll Coal Bruh!

    Brooooowuh!
You know what's going on the truck! It's on here, IG, probably even said it in your thread lol.
It really was just more time than expected. I'm still tired from it.
I was gonna ask for pointers on the rear. Like doing one side at a time or taking both off together. I'm leery about my rear just dangling there. Like a hamster tail hemorrhoid

BTW, strange to me and seems slightly improbable, but my alignment is not bad at all.
When I first drove home (about 2 miles from my friend's place) it pulled to right, but not too badly. After resting over night and a few miles, it's damn near straight! Not much worse than it was beforehand.

All I can think, and what your mom/gf/wife says..."Damn I'm good!"

Leaving one side (rear) bolted in place while you do the other makes it difficult. You're better off with some free movement from having both unbolted. Tried it both ways....will NEVER EVER again leave one side fastened while dicking with the other.

I was sore as hell BEFORE I started on mine, and it took several weeks before I could walk without pain. Just as I started getting where I didn't hurt, they split me open and cut on my kidney. It wasn't a pleasant spring/summer for me. Better year so far.....

May drag out my compressor and tools and risk it in my gravel drive, one day this week. Although, hate to have my truck apart on a weekday and not make it to work

Camber and toe shouldn't change much if you didn't take UCA adjustment cams apart. Caster will be less than it was slightly. The bigger the tires and the taller the lift, the more camber you need. By using used 885's, they've probably done most of the settling....and caster may be close enough. Go higher and you start running into problems aligning with stock UCA's.

I'll still take it to a shop anyway. I can now hear the tires rub pavement when I didn't hear that before, only the typical AT tire drone on pavement.

I now have a MUCH better perspective of "10" on the "1 to 10 pain scale". That much I'm sure of.

Have a grinder handy. Center pin in stock leaves will NOT come off any other way.

I've found it helps to put some grease on the threads of the new center pin before starting to tighten it. Tends to be hard to turn otherwise.

Just be calm and go slow. The rear is one of those jobs that seems like it is taking forever, then all at once you're done. I did mine in about 90 minutes. All my stitches held too. That was a plus.
