    I think you just need to realistically decide how you want to use your truck. Do you want it to be a year round DD and occasional wheeler, or do you want it to be a wheeler than occasionally sees the road?

    I don't mean to say that it's not usable on the street but how much will it be protected from the elements. Rain, snow and salt is absolute hell on armor, bling shocks, etc. There are guys that run nice shocks and stuff year round on a DD but you have to be okay with committing to how much work it is to keep it all in good shape and financially okay with occasionally replacing stuff. Threaded bodies will get destroyed pretty quick in the winter and coils will rust too if you aren't super diligent keeping after them on a year round DD.

    You're right. Through and through.
    It's my DD, but I still want off road capability. I need to find that happy middle ground, which more or less points to Fox Performance series or 6112s.
