    Hey there!

Figured I would join everyone else on TW and make a build thread. I'm a little late to the game and a lot of work is already done, but I'll keep this thread updated with all the new additions.

Owned my 2019 DCSB SR5 in white for just over 2 years and have 50k mi on her already. Lots of camping trips and offroad adventures, but too many daily driver miles too. Hopefully will be getting a daily soon so this thing can become the full overland rig she wants to be.

How has the DMM held up holding a tablet? Thinking of adding one for my personal truck.

    $15 for 2 sets isn't cheap?

It sure wiggles a lot and the dash trim seems to pull out a bit, but nothing catastrophic yet. I don't have it mounted for serious wheeling though.

My guess is he was referring the Harbor Freight rifle case (even though there wasn't a link). Plano cases on Amazon are the best bargain, even after they raised the prices $20.

Ah maybe. Honestly, I love those Harbor Freight cases. My buddy works at their corporate office in California and he attests to them. They have passed all the same tests as Pelican minus submergible capabilities. If my case ends up underwater, it's the least of my worries. I have them for all my camera gear, for actually storing rifles, and for the truck. Just wait til they go on sale every few months if the price is that tough, but the alternatives are way more expensive.

Also IMO the Roam cases are ugly for roof mounting. WAY too tall.

I don't disagree with you. I have a bunch of their ammo boxes and a few of the small Apache cases (which are awesome). People are so conditioned that everything from Harbor Freight is going to be the absolute cheapest option available that when a product isn't they think it's a ripoff. It's the same people who scream about their Icon tool line.

Just had the truck reflashed with the CVC Tune on Friday night. First impressions the truck shift points are SO much better. Not noticing any increased gas mileage (I'm only just shy of 33" tires) but the drivability is much better. Doesn't make me want to pull my hair out going up the i70 grade anymore, so honestly good $250 well spent. Interested to see how it reacts once I get 34s and reflash again.

I'll update with another post down the line when I have more experience to speak from. Anyone else have any pros of the CVC tune for me to look forward to?

Super jank and temporary mockup right now. The plan was to use it for testing and measurements, then I will CAD design the final bracket and have it laser cut from SendCutSend. Might even sell them if they turn out good. I have rubber isolators ready to put on when I make the final bracket, but it's held up for over a month of use so far without them.
