Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Windex and newspaper, instead of rags, will take it off easier. It will never stay gone.

The film that builds up on the inside of your windshield is caused by the outgassing of the dash plastics. Just clean the windshield more often. I prefer stoners and a quality microfiber glass towel. Best combo that I've found over the years.

i clean them like ever 2 weeks. i don’t fill i should be cleaning them that often. did it about ever 2 or 3 months when i drove the scion.
it comes off just fine. just don’t stay clear for more than a week.

yeah. but even in the cold? and it was never this bad on the scion or the tundra. i use microfiber. but i’m going to pick up some better microfiber towels.

Windex is the worst for auto glass..no matter what temp you wipe it you will end w/streaks at some point..I've heard it's because auto glass is softer than normal window glass and mirrors..

I've also tried the window stuff that you fill your resavoir with..it works pretty well, just avoid doing it when the glass is warm..

The best stuff I've found and swear by is in a blue metal can called Sprayway glass cleaner. You can find it anywhere..I get mine in the party pack at Costco. By far the best cleaner I've found...and doesn't leave streaks...even when applied to a hot window..

Newer cars and trucks are prone to "Vinyl Haze/Fog", it casuse a nasty film build-up of all the substances used to make the high plastic content of modern cars out-gassing inside the car. Just clean it.

I use Dri Wash’n Guard Ultra-Ion Waterless Car Wash on my windows inside and out. I clean the windows inside about every other month. The ionic technology repels the chemical build-up that cause this haze. My windows stay very clear. Water beads and runs off, bugs don’t stick. This stuff is really the way to go.

I use this, never get that issue in any of my cars. http://www.spraywayinc.com/

Do you smoke in your truck?

I used to get that issue when I used windex and smoked in the car. Tinted front window so never used windex again. I quit using windex about the same time I quit smoking so not sure if one or the other was causing it.

Yes, Sprayway with a microfiber cloth. Cheap as hell, Home Depot carries it too. Windex is hopeless. But you'll still get the slight haze building up after a while. Sprayway is just much easier and cleaner to use. I actually look forward to cleaning glass with this stuff.

I've heard of people of using newspaper...I've never done it myself. Anyone know why it works better? You would think the ink and other dyes used to create the newspaper would make it worse..
