My 2015 Tacoma has a feature that when you turn the temperature control all the way to the lowest point the the A/C and Recirculate Air turn on. Drives me nuts. Is there a way to change this? Possibly a wiring mod that will not trigger the A/C.

I believe there is a write-up on here specifically for that. I'm lazy at work right now, so I'm going to have to ask you to search yourself. I think it is somewhere along the lines of "max a/c" control or something. Hope that helps a tiddly bit.

You mean when you turn it on the the " "coolest" setting on your temp control? It goes into "max ac mode" and gives you the coldest air. If you don't like it just go up 1 notch.

Just to touch on what Alfred is saying... If you do happen to do a wire mod to disable the recirculation while the air is set on max cool/max ac...you're defeating the purpose of the Max A/C.

I live in the north (Canada) and I NEVER used MAX A/C in my life. I just find it annoying when I turn down the temp. I need to turn it back a notch and then turn off the A/C.

I'd rather have recirculating air than smelling the ford diesel exaust that is in front of me on a stoplight. Just a thought.
