Works on 2011 DC SR5 as well - I successfully completed this last week and the silence has been awesome.

I could not get my 2011 to do it, the 09 I had worked fine. Did any of you with a 2011 have the new gauge cluster?

Same result for me with the 2011 and new gauge cluster. Tried every permutation with no success.

how have i not heard about a new guage cluster? I got the b-on/off to come on. but once I switched it over there was no change. it still would chime.

anyone have a thread or sidexside comparison of old/new clusters so I know what I gots?

    edit:

had a successful search after a few attempts and found the difference. i'm old cluster and must have done the mod wrong somehow.

I want the chime off for when I'm in and out of the truck a lot, like working around the farm or fire scenes loading equipment and hose. That being said, I think anyone who just doesn't want the chime so they can drive without the seatbelt is an idiot.

Follow the wire from the belt clip on the seat. Its the smallest plug under the drivers seat. No light, no ding, no headache. I undid the passenger side and the airbag was off. So I guess I'm kinda screwed there. But atleast It doesn't scream at me anymore.

I just registered this morning and obtained the infomation to disable my seatbelt warning chime. For those with a new 2011 TRD it worked. Seatbelt light is on initially with five chimes then it stops chiming. Sweet deal.
