The seat belt chime disable is great. Toyota told me they did not know how to do it. Does anyone know a similar one to get rid of the beeps when you lock/unlock with the keyless remote? My 05 had the premium factory alarm and it was easy to do but on my 2010 I think it is similar to the seat belt mod.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the info....Im not gonna lie, I only wear my seatbelt when I see a cop or if my kids are in the truck, that beep was getting pretty annoying. So glad its gone, thanks again.

    Quick and easy.

Just unplug the "beeper" up by the battery .... I believe that it to the left as you are looking under the hood. Click your key fob and you'll find it. I taped over the wire plug end and removed the beeper.

    Your flashers will still flash.

Thanks Mark C., that info is helpful but doesn't cover the chime for lock/unlock. I found this on the forum posted by "singlefin" on 2-21-10, it works to enable/disable the keyless remote lock/unlock chime:

    1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION

The following items can be customized.

    NOTICE:
When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized. Record the current settings before customizing. When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting. If the battery is disconnected, the wireless answer-back buzzer will be returned to the default setting.
    Item
    Function
    Default Setting
    Customized Setting
    Wireless remote control
    Operation signal (Buzzer)
    ON
    OFF

    (a) Open the driver side door and insert the key into the ignition cylinder.
    (b) Remove the key from the ignition cylinder and, within 5 seconds, reinsert the key and turn the ignition switch to ON.
    (c) After 10 seconds, the system enters answer-back buzzer switching mode.
    (d) Within 10 seconds after answer-back buzzer switching mode is started, if a transmitter button (the same button) is pressed twice, the answer-back buzzer setting changes (off to on, or on to off) to activate or disable answer-back by buzzer.

    HINT:
The driver side door is closed.
The ignition switch is turned off.
The key is removed from the ignition cylinder.
A transmitter button is not pressed for 10 seconds after answer-back switching mode is started.
The transmitter is operated but the second button pressed is different from the first.
    Answer-back starts.

Sorry ....I gave you the wrong link. I have reprogrammed mine to eliminate lock/unlock chirp, seat belt alarm, and reset the maintenance required light.

    Good luck.

Just did my 2011 DC 4x4. My wife accidentally put her seatbelt on during the process and it worked. So you can buckle the driver or passenger belt for this to work.

I tried this on my 2011 Access Cab and was not able to get it to work. I did follow the instructions exactly. Mine has the newer gauge clusters, however, so I wonder if the electronics are not different, too?

I have a 2011 and cant seem to get this to work.
I actually get it to say the b-on, press the button again, and it says b-off
but the truck will beep several times right after I start it if I dont have my seatbelt on before I start the truck.
    Any tips?
    Thanks

Even with B-OFF set the seat belt warning will chime a few times when you first insert the key. After that it will not make a sound...
