    I don't mean to be an adult here. But everyone should wear their seatbelt while driving. It is much better to stay in the car during/after a crash then to get ejected. TRUST ME!

    I have not gotten this to work yet. I did the beep for lock/unlock off. Does door open or closed matter like it does for the lock/unlock? Any other tips?

    Ok, I got it to work. The XXXX never showed up, but after about 30 seconds I put the belt on and got the b-on.
    Forgot to add, Thank You. My lady always jumps the gun getting out, and the dog always sets it off. Love this.

    Couldn't get this to work on my 2011 Access Cab either. I also have the new gauge cluster. Anyone have luck with this setup?

    I agree with you 100% - The only reason I wanted to disable mine is b/c I put things in my passenger seat and when I do, the thing dings forever telling the "passenger" to buckle up.

    I trust you on the ejected part --- I was a Firefighter for awhile, been to a few calls where someone was ejected from the vehicle due to not wearing seat belt... never ended pretty.... well 90% of the time it ended in death.

    But thanks for standing up for our safety, much appreciated.

    Yeah it works for sure! I went to 4 different stealerships to find out how to kill that buzzer, they all said "it's not possible".

    Even better is disabling the door open chime so you don't hear it constantly beeping when the key is in the acc position with the door open. So, so happy to have disabled it! You'll find the DIY here;
    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2643003&postcount=27

    I found that the top half of the steering column doesn't need to move & you only need to pull the lower half down a few inches to disconnect the little white plug. Took me 15 mins.
