Taco third gen [stock '18 sport]: Can the automatic sensor for a high beam headlights be disabled so that the high/low beams are only opperated manaully with the headlight switch? I don't want the sensor/"safety" feature preventing me from using the high beams. Is there another way to solve this? Thanks.

Push the auto high beam button to the left of the steering wheel?

Does this button remember its setting? Or would you have to turn off the auto high-beams every time you drive the truck?

I live in a semi-rural area and find the auto high beams to be infuriating. They'll randomly shut off for what appears to be no reason, and then not come back on for several hundred yards for some other unknown reason. Good to know I can easily disable them permanently.

Yeah, I don't really use the auto high beam often. Only sometimes on windy roads with blind corners where they can shut themselves off faster than I can reach for the headlight lever if a car comes around a corner
