    How do you turn off the stock alarm on a 98 tacoma.... it goes off all the time for no reason

    i figured out how to change the timing for the alarm but i still would like it to be turned off..... Anyone know how

    yesterday my brother calls me and says do you hear that.... hmmm yes it was my alarm going off and the keys r needed to turn it off and oh yea i had them!!!! I had to have y friend drive all the way back to my house to turn it off :mad: this is the only thing i hate about this truck

    I have the book for it but i couldent find anything on how to shut it off err. And when i got the truck i never got a remote, am i supposed to have one?

    2 remotes.

    I finnaly took the time to go to the stealership and i ordered a remote... $50.03... Now does this remote have lock/unlock and panic.... or what?
