Hey guys I am new to the forums and really like the atmosphere here! Haha I'm liking the funny comments. But I don't know the history of the vehicle except that it was a one owner and it wasn't but a couple months old. Everything in the vehicle is stock (that I know of) aside from the security remoteless key entry and alarm but I dont see that causing the beep. I will try to post a video showing this as soon as I return from vacation.

Went digging in the truck last night and found this little thing. It was the problem.

Definitely a fleet vehicle I am assuming; decided to keep it in there to see my driving habits but turned off the damn beeping.

your truck could have been used by a new driver at some point. i have heard of parents installing those chips to monitor speed.

Yeh this thing plugged in the OBD II port under the dash. Did a good job of hiding it too because I ran around with it for 5 months. Plugged it up to my computer with a cord I had laying around and downloaded some software online and it showed me my top speed of every trip i ever took in the last 1200 miles plus loads of other info like RPM. Never knew it
